Ms. Weah has worked at GPFA since its founding in 2012. As one of the founding members of the Liberian Women Mass Action for Peace, she stood alongside the brave women of Liberia, calling for an end to the civil war.
Ms. Weah is also a member of the Women in Peace Building Network (WIPNET), Christian Women Peace Initiative, and UN Women Civil Society Advisory Group. She proudly calls herself an astute peacebuilder and an activist. Ms. Weah believes firmly in using her voice to inspire the next generation of Liberian peacebuilders.
When asked about her time at GPFA, this is what she had to say:
“I believe in GPFA because of its dedication to peacebuilding and advocating for the women, girls, and youth of Liberia. My time at GPFA has empowered me with the skills I need to take the lead and resolve conflicts within my community.”
