FESTIVAL OF WOMEN
A platform for women from all spheres of society to network and share personal experiences, thus celebrating their oneness and reaffirming the sense of belonging to a communal humanity. Since 2016, GPFA has fostered safe and networking spaces for 1,266 women and girls.
16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM
Every year, from November 25 to December 10, the world observes the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, a campaign that aims to raise awareness and mobilize action to end all forms of violence against women and girls.
Feminist Lecture Series “HerStory”
A lecture series that create an empowered space where both women and men can have a dialogue concerning societal norms, as they tackle the concept of feminism being a one-sided ideology. Since 2017, GPFA has empowered 1,221 people through its lecture series, to encourage healthy dialogues about Liberia's society.
International Women's Day (IWD) is a holiday celebrated annually (on March 8) as a focal point in the women's rights movement. IWD gives focus to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.
